Founded in 1916, the carefully cultivated JCC Orchestra maintains a long history as the predecessor to the Louisville Orchestra and one of the oldest continuous community orchestras in the country. Today the orchestra performs an exciting, diverse repertoire featuring romantic classical standards to toe-tapping Broadway classics.
Music Director
Aaron Boaz has not only served as Artist in Residence for several years, but also has been featured as a guest soloist numerous times. Aaron holds a Bachelor of Music in Violin performance from the University of Louisville and a Master of Music in Violin performance from Northwestern University. He has been affiliated with the violin programs at First Conservatory of Chicago, Bloomingdale School of Music, North Central College, and the Prepatory Department of Wheaton College. Aaron made his European debut as a guest of the Belgian Grand Consulate and recently presented a recital in England’s Winchester Cathedral.

Dance the Night Away is a collection of poplar, symphonic dances sure to lighten your step. Music includes: The Three-Cornered Hat by Manuel de Falla, Dvorak's Slavonic Dances and the Beautiful Blue Danube.
