Camps & Children

The Children & Camp programs from the JCL offer events and activities for infants through high school-age youths!
There are a variety of exciting programs and classes for children and families to participate in throughout the year.  We have camps during summer, winter, and spring breaks and schools out days when school is not in session.  In addition, we have family fun activities, Saturday night programs, classes and more!

Camps at JCC

The JCC offers a wide variety of camps during summer, winter, and spring breaks.  All camp programs include exciting arts n crafts and sports activities whole providing a supportive environment for children to grow and have new experiences.  All children will an unforgettable experience! PJ PLus

PJ Plus is designed for children from kindergarten through the second grade and continues the wonderful tradition of JCL’s PJ Library program.  PJ Plus is a way for those who are easing out of The PJ Library to be involved in more age-appropriate activities while they continue to meet and connect with other Jewish children. Family Gym & Kids Club

A free member-only program.  Children ages 2-12 will play ball and bounce on the inflatables.  Children ages 5-12 will also participate in crafts, games, and sports.   For more information contact Julie Hollander, Director of Youth & Camping, This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.   • Children under 5 years old must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Children 5-12 years old can be signed in while parents remain in the building.
  • January 4-May 21:
    • Monday/Tuesday/Thursday/Friday, 3:30-6 p.m,
    • Wednesday, 3:30 - 6:30 p.m
    • Sunday, 1:00 - 4:00 p.m.

Children's Louge is available from June 5-August 15:

Extended Hours begin July 12:

  • Monday-Thursday, 8:30-1:00 PM & 5:00-8:00 PM
  • Friday, 8:30-1:00 PM
  • Sunday, 9:00-1:00 PM

Schools Out Days

When Jefferson County Public Schools are off of school, send your children to the JCC for fun programming.  Every day includes arts n crafts, swimming, sports, and more!  Click here to learn more.

Family Fun Programming

Enjoy exciting activities with the family.  Activities range from Jewish educational programming to mother son and father daughter recreational activities. Check back for more information.


Children’s Theatre at JCC

Children work with theatre professionals in all three disciplines, including singing, acting, and dancing. They will learn clever, original songs and a catchy rhyming dialog culminating in a musical theatre production with your child playing a starring role! Click here to learn more.

Dance Academy

Under the professional instruction and encouragement of Robin Franck-Schulman and Katy Mink Casper, creativity through movement is explored, bringing the most out of children and releasing the inner child out of adults.  Ask about our Performance Music Academy as well! Click here to learn more.

Birthday Parties at JCC

The JCC provides a personal party host to lead activities set up and clean up, paper goods, balloons, and a pass for all guests to return to the JCC for Family Gym Time.
