Jewish Festival of the Book

One of the most pleasant and surprisingly powerful things in life is opening a book and your mind by beginning the journey to another time, another place and another perspective. The Jewish Community Center of Louisville fosters this experience and cultural exploration with its annual Jewish Festival of the Book held in November.  During this time five or more authors come to our community to give presentations about their recently published works and are available to do book signings.

Our authors range from world-famous to first-time authors, including local writers. This event is usually held at the JCC where a new and used book sale provides you with an opportunity to purchase the books.
